Liam Young on Adrián Villar Rojas

Lecture

Artist Adrián Villar Rojas draws inspiration from a wide variety of sources—comic books, science fiction, anime, film, classic literature—and the forms contained within his works are juxtapositions of organic and inorganic, permanent and impermanent, materials. Architect Liam Young operates in the space between design and fiction, exploring the possibilities of speculative and imaginary urbanisms and leading the M.A. program in Fiction and Entertainment at SCI-Arc. Young will speak from his truly unique perspective on the exhibition Adrían Villar Rojas: The Theater of Disappearance.
