Members' Opening: With Pleasure and Open House

Member Event

Join your fellow MOCA members, mingle with the artists and curators, share a conversation over a drink, and be among the first to explore the new works on view. MOCA members are invited to an exclusive members-only reception celebrating the openings of our new fall exhibitions at MOCA Grand Avenue. With Pleasure: Pattern and Decoration in American Art 1972–1985 is the first full-scale scholarly survey of the groundbreaking American art movement, encompassing works in painting, sculpture, collage, ceramics, installation art, and performance documentation. Open House: Gala Porras-Kim is the second iteration of Open House, MOCA’s exhibition series inviting Los Angeles–based artists to explore the museum’s permanent collection and develop an exhibition around a theme of their choice.

No RSVP is necessary for members. Members at the Individual, Artist, and Student levels, receive admission for two. Members at the Household/Dual, Contributing, MOCA Associate, and Art Advocate levels receive admission for four.
