A Fugitive Thought

Performance

​Throughout the run of storefront: Public Fiction: The Poet and The Critic, and the missing, a series of short, commissioned texts on the themes of the exhibition have been published online at publicfiction.moca.org. For this public program, professional actors will recite those texts in the museum’s permanent collection galleries. This scripted performance, directed by artist Stanya Kahn, highlights the liminal space between artworks and viewers in the permanent collection exhibition The Art of Our Time.
