Organized with fashion designer Rio Uribe, The G•Spot is a traveling festival that celebrates local communities and features influential LA-based LGBTQ and BIPOC artists. This iteration focuses on a panel entitled, Qué Onda: The New Wave of Chicanx Artists and Creators with rafa esparza, Willy Chavarria, Lupe Rosales, and Selena Ruiz, moderated by Uribe. Alongside the discussion the afternoon will highlight performances from Bay Davis, Cain Carias, and Delta Work with DJ sets from Rush Davis.  

Based in Los Angeles and New York City, Rio Uribe is a self-taught artist and fashion designer. In 2013 Rio became Creative Director of the unisex fashion brand Gypsy Sport. He is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Rio's work is radically queer and utopian. His fans include Dua Lipa, Jaden Smith, and Cardi B. Collaborations include DKNY, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Opening Ceremony, and M•A•C Cosmetics. Rio worked for 6 years at Balenciaga under Nicolas Ghesquiere. He was appointed the CFDA Award by Anna Wintour in 2016. His work is currently on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Fresno Art Museum, and The New Orleans Museum of Art.
