Sunday Studio: Big Family Day

Big Family Day is the museum’s largest all-ages program of the year, a free party with studio projects on the plaza and conversations with student educators in the galleries. Museum visitors of all experience levels are invited to a hands-on workshop led by MOCA educators and the Echo Park Film Center, a non-profit media arts organization that provides film and video resources to youth. Kids can make their own video art with stop-motion animation and manipulated analog filmstrips, which will be screened throughout the afternoon, and made available to participants afterwards. Big Family Day includes music, food trucks, and Toddler Town, an exploration area for little makers.​
