Hall of Mirrors: Art and Film Since 1945

The first major exhibition in the U.S. to focus on the dynamic relationship between cinema and the visual arts; works by more than 90 of the postwar period's most remarkable filmmakers and visual artists and included approximately 175 art objects, 60 films and film excerpts, 15 installations and a film series jointly organized by MOCA and the UCLA Film and Television Archive. Accompanied by a catalogue and traveled to the Wexner Center for the Arts, The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio; Palazzo Delle Esposizioni, Rome, Italy; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
