Musician .idk. joins MOCA’s Quantum Listening for a special presentation on the themes of possibility present in his new body of work, ETDS.
.idk. is a genre-bending rapper, singer, and producer whose music fuses sharp lyricism with thought-provoking concepts. Rooted in both street wisdom and intellectual insight, he challenges perspectives and pushes the boundaries of contemporary hip-hop. His artistic vision extends beyond music, incorporating fashion, philosophy, and experiential performances to create impactful storytelling.
Inspired by composer Pauline Oliveros’ manifesto for listening as activism, Quantum Listening explores the everyday phenomena of the sonic as a realm of healing and radical transformation rooted in musicianship. Through open conversations, screenings, and listening sessions, the series acts as a soundboard that mixes our dialogues and amplifies our curiosities about the world around us.
This program is organized by Justen Leroy, Director of Public Programs and Community Outreach.
