Printed Matter’s L.A. Art Book Fair 2023

Returning to Los Angeles for the first time since 2019, Printed Matter's L.A. Art Book Fair (LAABF) takes place August 10–13 at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. Over the course of four days, LAABF will bring together over 300 international publishers and tens of thousands of artists, collectors, curators, and professionals from the art world and other creative industries.

Fair Hours and Admission:
Opening Night, Thu, Aug 10, 6–9pm, $25
Fri, Aug 11, 1–7pm, $5
Sat, Aug 12, 11am–7pm, $5
Sun, Aug 13, 11am–6pm, free admission with registration

Free MOCA Shuttle during LAABF:
Complimentary MOCA Shuttle service is available during the LAABF, connecting The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA to MOCA Grand Avenue. The shuttle runs approximately every twenty minutes during fair hours.

Art for All: Free General Admission at MOCA Grand Avenue
Join us at MOCA Grand Avenue during the LAAABF and enjoy free admission and educator-led tours of our collection exhibitions, Long Story Short, and Mapping an Art World: Los Angeles in the 1970s-80s. General admission to MOCA is free courtesy of Carolyn Clark Powers.

MOCA Grand Avenue Hours and Tickets:
Thursday: 11am–8pm
Friday: 11am–5pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am–6pm

All visitors, including members, are encouraged to reserve advance timed tickets online. A limited number of same-day tickets may be available online and on-site, subject to capacity.

Free Exhibition Tours:
Led by our curatorial and education teams, MOCA’s Exhibition Tours are designed to provide visitors with the opportunity to discuss, ask questions, and dive deeper into the works on view. Meet in lobby at MOCA Grand Avenue. No reservations necessary!
