Lanka Tattersall: Real Worlds: Brassaï, Arbus, Goldin

Lecture

Drawn largely from the museum’s permanent collection, Real Worlds: Brassaï, Arbus, Goldin explores the ways in which three of the most influential photographers of modern life— Brassaï (1899–1984), Diane Arbus (1923–1971) and Nan Goldin (1953–)—used the camera to reflect and transform the world around them. MOCA Assistant Curator Lanka Tattersall will lead a walkthrough of the galleries to guide the audience through the larger framework of the exhibition and some of its highlights.
