The exhibition featured the gift of eighteen master paintings, sculptures, and drawings created between 1939 and 1972 by thirteen artists. The Schreiber Collection includes Tall Figures II and Tall Figure III (both 1960) by Alberto Giacometti, Arshile Gorky's BetrothaI (1947), Piet Mondrian's Composition of Red, Blue, Yellow, and White: Nom III (1939), and Number 1, 1949 (1949) by Jackson Pollock. Additionally works include those by Pierre Alechinsky, Alexander Calder, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Giacometti, Morris Louis, Joan Miró, George Rickey, Mark Rothko, Nicolas de Staël, and Mark Tobey.
The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue.
