Robert Rauschenberg’s XXXIV Drawings for Dante’s Inferno, 1959-60

These thirty-four prints, each of which corresponds to a particular canto in Dante's epic poem, comprise Rauschenberg's sole attempt to illustrate a written text. They were a gift to MOCA from Marcia Simon Weisman.
