Proliferation featured over fifty works in which repetition moves towards the inifinite or uncontrollable by more than thirty artists including Donald Baechler, Sam Durant, Judy Fiskin, Ellen Gallagher, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Liz Larner, Sol LeWitt, Edward Ruscha, and Andy Warhol.
Proliferation was organized by Russell Ferguson, Associate Curator, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
