Jonathan Borofsky was a multimedia retrospective. The exhibition traveled to LA after a six-city tour and included five major new works specially made for The Temporary Contemporary.. Encompassing a twelve-year period of Borofsky’s career, the exhibition of painting, drawing, sculpture, video, music and soundscape included more than one hundred works and three hundred and fifty small drawings.

Jonathan Borofsky was organized by Mark Rosenthal, Curator, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, with Richard Marshall, Associate Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

The Temporary Contemporary is the original name of The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
