Jessica Bronson: world picture presented a new video installation and related works by the LA-based video artist Jessica Bronson. The titular piece in the exhibition, world picture (1998), comprised two large, curved screens installed across a gallery space, each oriented in different directions to form a kind of ‘S’ shape.
Jessica Bronson: world picture was presented as part of the Citibank Private Bank Emerging Artist Award. Bronson was the award’s second ever recipient, following Catherine Opie in the previous year.
