
This second of a two-part exhibition provided the rare opportunity to examine the relationship among a selection of installation works, which usually can only be shown one at a time due to their considerable space and construction requirements. Included in this installment were Vito Acconci's Under-History Lessons (1976-87); Fred Fehlau's Double Lock( 1991);Der Lauf der Dinge (1987) by Fischli and Weiss; two fluorescent light installations by Dan Flavin; Tea with Carlo McCormick. Carlo comes. We build a Fire, Have Tea, Talk. He Leaves.(1987) by David Ireland; Barry Le Va's Shatterscatter (Within the Series of Layered/Pattern Acts) (1968-71); Bruce Nauman's Four Corner Piece (1970); a Cady Noland installation featuring 12'1" Fence (1992), 12'1" Barricade (1992), and Misc. Spill (1990); Ba-O-Ba IV (1969) by Keith Sonnier; Tollyn (1967) by James Turrell; and Doug Wheeler's RM 669 (1969).
