The Temporary Contemporary
A collaboration between MOCA, the Los Angeles Center for Photographic Studies (LACPS), and the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee (LAOOC). The exhibition displayed work documenting the 1984 Summer Olympic games held in LA by photographers from across the country: Louis Carlos Bernal, Robert Builtrón, Jo Ann Callis, Jack Carnell, Robert Cumming, Bonnie Donohue, Jim Dow, Peter Reiss, Frank Stewart and Charles Traub.
The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue.

The Temporary Contemporary was the original name of The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
