Eve Fowler’s filmwith it which it as it if it is to beis an intimate study of the working practices of artists captured in their studios. Partially scripted as a feminist critique, the film features artists reading off-screen from queer feminist icon and writer Gertrude Stein’s short storyMany Many Women. Part of a larger project informed by Stein’s writing, Fowler’swith it which it as it if it is to beis a film that seeks to bring Stein’s writing forward into the contemporary moment.
Priority tickets are available to MOCA members one hour before the program. Fifteen minutes before the program begins tickets will be released to non-members. One ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is recommended.
