Concurrent with the exhibitionReal Worlds: Brassaï, Arbus, Goldin, the renowned photography publisher Aperture presents a pop-up bookshop at MOCA Store Grand Avenue. Founded in 1952 by photographers Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, and Minor White, among others, Aperture has a rich history of producing groundbreaking projects, monographs, and writings on photography including Nan Goldin’sThe Ballad of Sexual Dependencyand the upcomingDiane Arbus: A box of ten photographs. The pop-up will feature publications with works by Brassaï, Arbus, and Goldin, as well as recent titles inspired by their legacies.
