In conjunction with Viennese Actionist works on display inThe Art of Our Time, Los Angeles Filmforum at MOCA presents films and videos by VALIE EXPORT and Kurt Kren. Kren, revered for his innovative form of experimental cinema, trained his camera and hyper-rapid editing technique on artists Guenther Brus and Otto Muehl. Later that decade, EXPORT staged her important, and often incendiary, actions on the street and for the camera, forging a new feminist language of image making.
