In a live lecture performance, the artists will touch on themes of gender, self-optimization, and social media. This event will include the launch of the artists’ “Little Ugly”' plushie creature, a physical stuffed toy that represents the spirit of theUgly Bitchescollection.The artists will also debut their plans for the Ugly Bitches sequel, Little Darlings. The event will open with remarks by Rhizome's Executive Director Michael Connor contextualizing the work. Limited-edition physical “Little Ugly'' plushies will be available for sale.
