Lecture

TOM McDONOUGH is an art historian, critic, and curator whose work focuses on modern and contemporary art, critical theory, and visual culture. He is a professor of art history at Binghamton University - State University of New York, where he teaches courses on postwar art, urbanism, and the politics of representation. His essays and reviews, published in leading journals and magazines including Artforum, OCTOBER, and Texte zur Kunst, combine close analysis of artistic practices with broader questions concerning media, public space, memory, and the social conditions of contemporary culture.
