The Museum of Contemporary Art: The Barry Lowen Collection was the first public presentation of Lowen's gift of sixty-four paintings, sculptures, photographs, and drawings dating between the 1960s and 1970s. Prior to his death, Lowen worked with Richard Koshalek to develop the exhibition, which was later curated by Ann Goldstein.
