Roy McMakin: A Door Meant as Adornment was a mid-career survey that featured over eighty works created during the preceding twenty years. Organized by Michael Darling, the exhibition focused on the development of McMakin's art and design career, as well as on his furniture and sculpture. Following its presentation at the Pacific Design Center, the exhibition traveled to the Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington, Seattle, Feb. 6-May 9, 2004.
