Raymond Pettibon was the first major survey of the artist's drawings and books and featured over 500 drawings created between 1979 and 1999. The exhibition was organized by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago and coordinated at MOCA by Paul Schimmel. MOCA's presentation also included additional works on paper as well as five specially-commissioned wall drawings.
