Wilderness was a video installation by Mary Lucier in which three synchronized videotapes were shown on seven television monitors mounted on classical pedestals, tree trunks, and a garden urn. The exhibition was commissioned by the Rose Art Museum of Brandeis University and traveled to MOCA and nine other museums. Julie Lazar was the project coordinator for MOCA.
