With this installation, artist Suzanne Lacy, architect Michael Rotondi, and media producer Peter Kirby frame some of the most elusive aspects of Kaprow’s art: experience, participation, reflection and memory. Referring to Allan Kaprow’s 1988 work, Trading Dirt, the installation invites private and public reflections, becoming a collection point for the experiences of those who have taken part in his happenings, events and environments, as told by the participants themselves. more
