Time Pieces (1973)
Comprised of three sections—“Pulse Exchange,” “Breath Exchange,” and “Pulse-Breath Exchange”— Time Pieces originally occurred in the festival, Aktionen Der Avantgarde in Berlin. Participants record their pulses and breath, listen to them, and exchange them with a partner over the phone, in-person, and while climbing stairs.
