Hi All,

I'm writing from London. I took part in a reinvention of Scales at the Tate Modern back in March 08. It was like fate! I mean I'd just started to research Kaprow (having only ever previously heard about Fluids) as the subject of my Masters dissertation in Visual Culture and within days I'd discovered your Moca retrospective and the subsequent events the Tate Modern were staging. It was fantastic timing! I really enjoyed taking part, a real once in a lifetime experience. I was also so pleased to see Allan's wife Coral had come over to Tate especially to see the reinventions we staged.

Sadly I'm not going to be able to make it over the LA to see the exhibition or witness Moca's reinventions of Kaprow's work. This is really unfortunate as I would love to actively participate in Kaprow's work more one time as it would make for great material in my dissertation.

However I wonder if you could keep me updated with any photo's, films, podcasts, notes, journals you put together documenting the reinventions and retrospective. I would sincerely appreciate any material you could share with me.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the show and please celebrate Allan's Life As Art a little from me.

With very best wishes.

I remember Kaprow's first happens in NYC. The wonderful feeling that the world of many possibilities was opening and the suffocating concept of art being only abstract painting and abstract sculpture was over.
