Sunday Studio

All Ages

Sunday Studio is MOCA’s all-ages, drop-in gallery exploration and studio art program. Join us at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA to explore the work of artist Do Ho Suh, whose ethereal and improbable artwork is inspired by memories of home. See his installation, Seoul Home/L.A. Home/New York Home/Baltimore Home/London Home/Seattle Home/L.A. Home, create your own version of a portable home in MOCA's pop-up studio, and catch a screening of the artist's new documentary, Fallen Star: Finding Home. Join co-directors Vera Brunner-Sung and Valerie Stadler for a Q&A discussion after each screening.

This special edition of Sunday Studio also features elementary and high school students leading conversations and activities throughout the museum for Student Art Connection, the culminating event of MOCA's year-long school partnership program.

Join visitors of all ages for an art-smart afternoon, fueled by food trucks and hand-selected music.
