Contemporary Art Start (CAS) at MOCA is a year-long art education program designed to introduce 3rd-12th grade teachers and students to the forms, content, and concepts of contemporary art. Contemporary Art Start's primary components include professional development, the CAS Curriculum Guide, multiple museum visits for students, and family involvement. Access a full description of CAS, its components, philosophy, and methodology.
This site has been designed as a live complement to the printed guide, as well as an online resource for CAS and Single Visit Tour exhibition and logistical information.
